Temperature remains one of the most consistent form of measurement. There are many methods for calculating or understanding it. The inbuilt part into the sensor, measures the temperature and it gets displayed on the face of the sensor device through an electric signal. Temperature influences most of the devices may be chemical,physical, mechanical or biological. A chemical manufacturing machine may have to be operated within a particular range of temperature, a mechanical type of machine requires a specific scale of temperature. There are 2 kinds, one is contact and the other is non contact sensor. With a contact sensor, the object or the person has to come in direct contact to be sensed, a thermometer is a body temperature sensor. In a non contact sensor radiation technology and the process of conveying is used to assess changes in the temperature. Digital temperature sensor consists of cable and a transmitter and is used for water and other industrial processes. The working of sensor depends upon the ignition across the semi conductor device. If the voltage rises the temperature also rises ,that way resistance shown by a semi conductor is directly proportional to the temperature change.
